claira pig doll

Continuing my obsession for Heather Bailey patterns, this gorgeous pig doll is from the Claira & Clancy pattern.

Her Claira pig on the cover looks to be made of pink velvet, but since I could not find any that I loved- I went with pink satin instead.

Oh how I love her!

She comes with the sweetest little dress pattern...

And her ears are so perfectly shaped- I absolutely love how Heather designs and writes patterns!!

Hahaha...

...my "rough draft." Don't mind that the snout is only half sewn on, or that she doesn't have any eyes.

This was a very complex pattern- I highly recommend making a rough draft before making yourself a "real one" It went so much smoother the second time!

giveaway winners

So I had a giveaway awhile back on my personal blog- and only 4 people entered. So I decided that they all won.

2 of them are having babies soon, so I wanted to wait until they found out what they are having before making anything for them.

Allisen is having a boy, and she likes cats, so I made the little one a kitty pillow using fabric that coordinates with the fabric she picked for his bedding.

Kim is having a girl, and since I don't know what/if she has picked colors for her nursery yet, I gave her some of my new blankies!

Lauren loves to make cupcakes- so I gave her this Cupcake Apron.

And Melissa requested hair clips- so when she picks what she wants, I will send them to her!

These are great to give to children so they can drag them around instead of their big ones- then they stay cleaner and easier to transport everywhere. They come in a coordinating set of 2- so your baby can still have one while one is in the wash!
